Warranty

About Us

About Us

All of our products are covered under a manufacturer warranty with the following terms.

We guarantee 304 stainless products for a period of ten (10) years and 316 marine grade stainless steel products for a period of five (5) years against faults in the material or construction, defect, or workmanship by the manufacturer.

WaterSense Guidelines and Regulations Established by the EPA

WaterSense Guidelines and Regulations Established by the EPA. For those concerned with water usage, a variety of shower heads is now offered. By retrofitting your shower with a WaterSense labeled showerhead, you can save a considerable amount of water. Standard shower heads use 2.5 gallons of water per minute (GPM). Water-saving showerheads that earn the WaterSense label must demonstrate that they use no more than 2.0 GPM. Some states require 1.8 GPM, so consider regulations specified by your state before purchasing.

Winterizing

Plumb your outdoor shower with a shut-off valve so that the entire system can be totally drained prior to winter weather. Turn off water supply to the shower unit. For a stop and waste valve, shut off the water by turning the valve clockwise until it won't turn anymore. For a ball valve, turn the handle a quarter turn so it is

perpendicular to the pipe. Remove drain caps and let

water drain. Use compressed air to blow excess moisture out of the pipes and valves and remove cartridges

Stainless Steel Products

Stainless Steel Products

We offer 304 and 316 commercial-grade stainless steel and chrome-plated brass products with a durable surface rated for outdoor use.

All steel is composed primarily of iron and carbon, but the addition of an alloy called chromium is what gives stainless steel its well-known corrosion resistant properties. 304 and 316 stainless steel are the two most common forms. Both are very similar in composition, except 316 stainless steel contains an additional alloy called molybdenum. Molybdenum increases the corrosion resistance of 316 stainless steel, specifically against chlorides, such as sea salt and de-icing salt.

Discoloration & Staining

Discoloration & Staining

Discoloration & Staining

Stainless Steel does not rust as one thinks of regular steel rusting. If you see “discoloration” it is likely the product

was contaminated from an outside source or chemical, or there is iron in the water supplied to the shower unit. See CLEANING & MAINTENANCE for additional information.

CLEANING

Discoloration & Staining

Discoloration & Staining

The most common mistake people make when cleaning stainless steel is using the wrong product. Never use steel

wool, chloride cleaners, abrasive cleaners, all-purpose cleaners, or chloride bleach on stainless steel. The second

most common mistake people make is not cleaning the stainless steel frequently enough. Contrary to its name,

stainless steel is valued for its anti-corrosion properties rather than its resistance to staining. To keep your Outdoor Shower looking new, clean the surface at the first sign of exposure or discoloration. Start by removing accumulated dirt with a soft cloth or brush. Wash with a mild soap followed by a clean-water rinse and then wipe dry. In most cases, light staining can be removed with a stainless steel cleaner or non-metallic abrasive scouring pad such as a Scotch-Brite™. We have found that Sprayway®, Sprayon®, WD-40® and Flitz™ are excellent stainless steel cleaners and protectants that can be purchased online or at most home improvement stores.
